409 All Soil Alfalfa is a perennial forage legume which normally lives 2-6 years. A Medium tall, showy semi-upright variety with a dense canopy and dark green foliage that adapts well all across the fall dormancy 3, 4 and 5 production zones. It fits the traditional 4 cut by mid-September harvest management for heavy grazing and it will handle more aggressive cutting if the producer’s goal is yield and high forage quality. Medium early maturity to one-tenth flower with fast recovery after grazing. No known soil type or management limitations. Outstanding results
I purchased the all soil alfalfa for my food plots for deer and turkey. This is year 2 and the alfalfa is thick and deep. Would definitely recommend for food plots.
