What do the “Days” signify for each hybrid?

This indicates the relative maturity (RM) of the corn—the average number of days from planting to when the grain reaches physiological maturity. Our lineup offers options ranging from an early-season 94-day maturity (0-3464) to a full-season 109-day maturity (0-6869), allowing you to match your local growing season and harvest window.

What is the difference between “Flex” and “Semi-Flex” ear types?

Flex Ears: (e.g., 0-3238, 0-4800, 0-5345, 0-5454, 0-6765, 0-6969) These ears can adjust their size (length and girth) based on growing conditions and available nutrients. They perform incredibly well at standard populations because the plant compensates if spacing is wide.
Semi-Flex Ears: (e.g., 0-3464, 0-6160, 0-6869) These ears maintain a more uniform, fixed size. They are optimized to handle much higher planting densities to maximize per-acre yield.

What are the recommended planting populations for these hybrids?

Most of our standard Flex-ear hybrids thrive at a population of 26,000 to 30,000 plants per acre. However, for our high-yielding Semi-Flex hybrids like 0-6160 and 0-6869, we recommend pushing the population higher to 29,000 to 34,000 plants per acre to maximize your canopy and tonnage.
